For our handmade leather collars and dog leashes, we use only high-quality, waxed polyester thread. This thread impresses with its extreme tear strength, abrasion resistance, and water-repellent wax coating. It is especially used for hand-stitching with the traditional saddle stitch . This stitching technique is known for its exceptional strength and durability: Two needles run in opposite directions through each hole, creating a double security. Even if a thread is damaged, the seam remains strong. Thanks to the wide range of colors, you can customize your collar or leash— from classically elegant to strikingly colorful.
